2007 was the year that Bid4aCure was formed.  During that year’s June charity drive we raised over $300,000 Linden Dollars for diabetes research and donations of US$650.00 and £310.00 British Pounds were made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and Diabetes UK by Jocelyn Sands (who supplemented the ADA donation) on behalf of Bid4aCure.

In 2008 Bid4aCure raised over a million Lindens to Benefit Diabetes Research and subsequently the real-world amounts of £1000.00 was donated to Diabetes UK and US$2,281.00 was donated to the American Diabetes Association.               

In 2009 Bid4aCure raised L$1,785,236; the most our effort has ever raised to date. Real-world currency donations in the amounts of US$3,437 and GB£2,092 were paid to the American Diabetes Association and Diabetes UK respectively on 7/7/09.
